How these numbers are made
The data comes from the live listings we source from Korean dealers on KB Chachacha, one of Korea's largest used-car marketplaces. Each price is the dealer's asking price in won, converted to US dollars at the day's exchange rate and rounded up to the nearest $100. We add no markup to listed prices.
Our stock is chosen for export, not a random sample of the Korean market. It favours recent, lower-mileage cars in the price bands export buyers ask for, so these medians describe what an export buyer can realistically get, not the average Korean used car. Listings older than about three weeks are removed and replaced, and the page updates every few hours.
Prices exclude shipping, import duty and taxes. For the full cost delivered to your country, use the car finder, which applies each destination's age limits, duty and VAT.
